If you dont already have one of the modern bagless vacuum cleaners that are available, you definately should. There are huge benefits from using bagless vacuums over the traditional bagged variety. You should definately shop around and find a good one, but if you dont already have one, I highly recommend it.

If you have just seen one up close, or been able to use one, you should realize right away why the bagged vacuum days are numbered. People who have had to deal dusty, bulging bags, or run out of bags or had one pop on them before should know what I am talking about. This wonderful invention not only saves time, but in the long run it also saves money.

Easy Cleaning

A big benefit to having a bagless vacuum is that its super easy to clean. All you really have to do is remove the dirt chamber and dump it out into the trash and your ready to go again. The dust is a little more controlled, and occasionally you can just rinse out the dirt chamber and dry it quickly and its as good as new.

One great plus to the bagless vacuum is that you dont have to hunt around for the correct bags. I had an older model regular vac for many years. Suddenly one day I noticed the selection of bags that they sold at my department store was just one little shelf. A couple of years before there was a whole wall filled with different types of bags. I knew then that I didnt want to have to hoard bags or hunt around by mail order just to get my vacuum bags. It was time to go bagless.

Sometimes I would get a little forgetful or lazy and just kept using the same bag for a long time. A couple of times I ran out of bags as well, so I just had to use a bulging full one. The performance of the vac was terrible. Its great not having to worry about that anymore.

The bagless vacuums that are out now are far superior to the very first versions that came out. These things clean very well, just as good or better than a traditional vacuum cleaner does. They are still loud of course, but I have found that some of the newer vaccums are actually a little quieter than their older cousins. The prices are becoming quite reasonable and are not too much higher than what a good traditional vacuum used to cost. Take a look around on the internet for the bagless vacuum cleaners they offer or check next time you are at the store, you may be pleasantly surprised!
