The Xerox DocuColor 260 finisher and feeder selection of addons can take your DC260 to the next level. The DocuColor series of printers are light production printers perfect for offices that print up to about 300k color prints per month. Features such as load-while-run toner, high gloss toner, and in-line finishing make this a true enterprise level color printer/copier. There are 5 different feeder and finisher addons that you can get for your DC 242/252/260 printer. The addon units are the same for whichever version of DocuColor you currently have, or are planning on purchasing.

High Capacity Feeder

The high capacity feeder for the DocuColor is basically your standard High Cap feeder. It attaches to the machines right side. This is a decent little addon however and can hold up to 2,000 sheets of letter sized paper.

Oversized High Capacity Feeder

The oversized high cap feeder unit also holds up to 2,000 pages. This feeder unit however is air assisted and can handle sheets of up to 13×19. This unit attaches to the machines right side just like the normal high capacity feeder does.

Advanced Finisher

The advanced finisher offers a standard 50 sheet, multi position stapler unit. The finisher also hole punches at 2, 3, or 4 holes and can stack up to 3,000 sheets on its stacker. There is also a 500 page top tray on this unit.

Professional Finisher

The professional finisher unit offers all the features that the advanced finisher does, as well as a bit more. The professional finisher includes saddle stitching capability as well as 60 page booklet and Bi-fold brochure assembly. This units stacker tray is 1,500, and there is a separate booklet output tray.

Light Production Finisher

The light production finisher unit offers all the capabilities of the professional finisher, but adds some extra key features. The light production finisher includes a 200 page interposer input tray that can insert your preprinted pages wherever you like in the job. It also has a larger stapling capacity of 100 sheets. An additional option for this finisher unit adds tri-fold, Z-fold, and tabloid Z-fold to the package.

If you choose not to have any finisher at all, your DocuColor unit will come with a standard Offsetting Catch Tray with 500 sheet capacity. I certainly recommend looking through the different finishers available however, and at least going with the advanced finisher unit. All in all, the Xerox DocuColor series of printers are great color machines for medium to large sized businesses and I certainly would recommend them.
